Madelyn is a graduate student researcher for the Native Policy Lab (NPL) at the University of Iowa. She is earning a Master's of Public Affairs with a concentration in Public Policy. Madelyn is expected to graduate in May of 2026. After graduation, Madelyn hopes to work within the realm of Native Policy, with specific interests in food sovereignty, rematriation efforts, and health outcomes. Her favorite part of doing research for the NPL is knowing that she is doing something that is helping her community.
