Joe is a graduate student researcher for the Native Policy Lab (NPL) at the University of Iowa. He is earning a Master's of Urban and Regional Planning from the School of Planning and Public Affairs, and is expected to graduate in 2026. After graduation, Joe hopes to work in the Native and Environmental Policy Space, with the goal of one day saving at least one tract of natural land from development. Joe loves doing research for the Native Policy Lab because it grounds him in the history of our land.
