Ava is a student researcher for the Native Policy Lab (NPL) at the University of Iowa. Her major area of study is International Relations, with minors in Spanish and Native American Studies. Ava is expected to graduate in May of 2028. After graduation, Ava hopes to work in the nonprofit sector or do policy work for underserved communities. Her favorite part of doing research for the NPL is working to help with the problems of Indian Country.
