Serenity is a graduate student researcher for the Native Policy Lab (NPL) at the University of Iowa. She is earning a Master's of Public Affairs from the School of Planning and Public Affairs, and is expected to graduate in 2028. After graduation, Serenity hopes to develop and implement policies that help people live in community with others and the planet. Serenity is excited about working with the NPL because she thinks the NPL's work is impactful to native people's lives and helps address contemporary issues caused by unjust historical policies.
